Terms and Conditions
Lets are from 4 pm Saturday to 10.am Saturday
Bookings will be confirmed on receipt of a non refundable 20% deposit. The balance must be paid 8 weeks before booking date. Where full payment is not recieved within the timescale quoted we reserve the right to cancel the booking.
Party Numbers
Under no circumstances may more than the maximum number of persons, as stated on the booking, occupy the property. Should this condition not be met we reserve the right to cancel the booking with immediate effect without refund. Furthermore, if for any reasonable reason the owner's believe that those hiring the property are (in their sole opinion) unsuitable then the booking shall be revoked without refund.
Hirer's Responsibility
At the end of the hire the property should be left (as it was found) in a clean and tidy condition, as must the property as a whole. Where additional cleaning is required a charge may be levied.
Pets
Pets are welcome on the ground floor of the property. Any damage, additional cleaning etc required as a result of the pet will result in an additional charge being made. Please note that Carnish Lodge is situated in a working crofting community and dogs therefore should be kept under control at all times.
Smoking
The property is strictly no smoking. Any additional cleaning required as a result of smoking in the property will result in an additional charge to be made.
Use of Open Fire
Please enjoy the fire responsibly. Do not 'overload' the fire grate or leave the fire unattended for any length of time. For safety reasons the fire guard should be used at all times.
Damage
During the period of hire all damages are the responsibilty of the hirer and should be paid for. A full itinery of items is made available to hirers. Any items missing at the end of the hire will also require to be paid for.
Disruption to travel
Occassionally ferries or flights may be delayed or cancelled due to adverse weather or other reasons. We cannot be held responsible for such events and no refunds will be given.
Insurance
We recommend that you take out adequate insurance to cover you holiday.
Outdoor activities
Please ensure that you are adequately prepared and clothed for all outdoor activities.
Vehicles/Personal Property
All property is left at the owner's risk
